Zuzanna Belancova
Zuzka was led to God at a young age by her mum, but faith only started to make sense to her after turning 15. A classmate invited her to a Josiah Venture (JV) English camp where she realized that Jesus really is God, and he came so she could live in freedom. In 2016, she attended a JV camp as one of the leaders. She then joined the youth group team, because she wanted others to know God as she did.
Zuzka studied how to teach English and Geography in Bratislava, since she already knew that she wanted to devote her time and energy to young people.
After almost three years of corporate work, Zuzka decided to serve with JV, because she saw that the young generation needed healthy role models and people who would help them on their life's journey. On JV’s national organization (Training Center Kompas) team in Slovakia, she serves with the summer camp ministry, which brings the gospel to teenagers in a way they can understand. Her second major role is managing their local office, a place where most of their training sessions and events take place.
Zuzka serves in the Lutheran church in Žilina (Slovakia), where she is part of the youth group team, the young adult team, and their camp teams.
