Darius (Romanian) met his wife Bia (Brazilian) at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Both had a desire and passion to serve the Lord and to make the name of Jesus known. They were called to Romania to communicate the gospel to Romanian youth in such a way that they will understand it, live by it daily, and ultimately pass it on to others. Darius is JV's training coordinator in Romania, mentoring and training youth leaders across the country to be fruitful in their ministries. He is also the pastor of Quo Vadis Church in Hateg. He likes basketball, eating jelly beans (the more flavors the better) and using pop-culture references when sharing the gospel. Bia is the worship coordinator at Quo Vadis, trains young women leaders to be fruitful in their calling, and disciples young girls to become wonderful women of God. Bia loves coffee, music and playing soccer. Darius and Bia have a young boy named Lucca and a little girl named Lara.
As a couple, they spend most of their time discipling and investing in young people with the hope of seeing a new generation of Jesus-loving leaders emerge. Darius and Bia are currently living in Hateg, a small town in the Carpathian mountains.
