Bulgaria

General Description

You will be participating in evangelistic music/performing arts camps for teenagers. The camps are not only a vital tool in bringing the gospel to the youth in a relevant and relaxed environment, but they are also significant for year-round music/performing arts based ministries. These camps and this relational ministry, called Fusion, is led by local churches.

During the first month of the internship, you will be involved in a week of training and visiting schools and existing Fusion groups to promote the camps and participate in a variety of youth music ministry activities. You will also learn how to use your particular music/performing arts skills in the camp context.

At each camp, you will experience a balance of evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training of national students and youth leaders. Each Fusion camp offers different workshop choices which might include but are not limited to: acoustic, electric and bass guitar, keyboard, drums, drama, dance (different styles), conducting, solo singing, PA and lights, photography, photoshop, videography, video editing, design (posters, tickets etc.), web design, etc.

Fusion camps accept students from all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. We would expect you, as a Fusion Intern, to feel comfortable teaching students who already have two years regular experience in their chosen instrument/creative art.

This is a high-energy ministry that requires a great love for students and your chosen art! Be prepared for a very busy schedule that will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life!
